Utensils to Koozhakode UP School   Feb 03 , 2008

Affirming its support to Round Table India's "Freedom through Education" campaign, Herbz International donated utensils to the Koozhakode UP School at Chathamangalam. These utensils would facilitate the cooking and dispensing of snacks and refreshments of the students in the school.

Water Tank for Palora Higher Secondary School, Ullery   Feb 05 , 2008

Herbz International, in association with Calicut Round Table 69 donated a water tank to the Palora Higher Secondary School at Ullery near Calicut. This would help about 300 students in the school by ensuring round-the-clock water supply in this school which has been suffering because of its inadequate water resources.

Plates for Panangad AUP School Mid-day Meal Scheme   Feb 10 , 2008

Herbz International, has today donated steel plates for students at the Panangad AUP School at Panangad near Balussery. This was done as part of Calicut Round Table 69's Freedom through Education program. The function held at the school was attended by Herbz International's General Manager - Administration, Mr. Vasanth Kumar

Sports Jerseys for the Kerala Special Olympics   Feb 14 , 2008

Herbz International in support of "Freedom through Education", sponsored the Sports Jerseys for the inmates of Asha Kiran, School for the Mentally Challenged at the Special Olympics held at Kottayam. The Asha Kiran students were very successful at the Championship with the inmates winning 7 Gold and 7 Silver medals.

Chairs to Karuna Bhavan, Home for the aged   Feb 08 , 2008

The Calicut Round Table 69 today donated chairs to Karuna Bhavan, a home for the aged near Chevayur in Calicut, Kerala. The chairs were sponsored by Herbz International and was handed over in a function here at Chevayur.

Computer Education for a Tribal Girl   Feb 03 , 2008

Sonia John, a tribal girl from Wynad District in Kerala lost her mother in early 2008. Being the eldest among 6 children, 18 year-old Sonia wanted to do get computer training from a local institute which could enable her to get a job within 2 years. When Sonia approached Calicut Round Table 69 for support, Herbz International came in to sponsor Sonia's program fees. Sonia is now a proud student at Datapro Computer Center, Sultan Battery, Wynad.

Herbz donates a TV to Vellayil School, Calicut   Feb 10 , 2008

Herbz International, in association with Calicut Round Table 69, donated a Color TV to the Vellayil Government School in Calicut. This was done as a part of Herbz International's patronage of Round Table India's "Freedom through Education" initiative

Vegetables for School Children   Feb 16 , 2008

In a function organized by Calicut Round Table 69 today, Vinay Kynadi, the CEO of Herbz International handed over a cheque to the Principal of Fisheries School, Beach Road, Calicut, sponsoring the vegetables for the school's Mid-day Meal Scheme for a period of 50 days. School authorities hope that such support would encourage more children to attend the school which caters to children in the coastal villages of Calicut.
